Safety Protocols
As a home care provider to a high-risk population, Starlight is committed to following standard safety precautions at all times. All caregivers are required to wear a mask in clients’ homes and to wash their hands and disinfect surfaces on an ongoing basis. Clients are highly encouraged to also wear a mask, but we understand that this is not always possible due to various practical and health reasons.
During the pandemic, we developed protocols and contingency plans for various Covid-19-related scenarios. These protocols are frequently reviewed and updated with guidance from federal and local government recommendations and policies.
Starlight will continue to perform free in-house assessments for new clients, and there is an option for a phone or video conference to start the conversation.
